Freda Dobbs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Dobbs (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred May and Hilda May; her husband Joel Dobbs; her siblings, Maurice May, Fred May, Jim May, Dorothy Bancroft and Olive Bayford; her sister-in-law Margaret Massey; and her son-in-law David Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Dobbs (Anne), Janet Cooper, Susan Henderson (Tommy) and Linda Powell (Don); her grandchildren, Chris Cooper (Donna), DJ Dobbs (Amanda), Beckie Truex (Richmond), Russ Henderson (Laura), Matt Henderson (Stacy), Katie Acosta (Robert), Jon Powell (Sarah) and Patrick Cooper (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Tyler Cooper (Jessica), Colton Cooper (Mallory), Sarah Cooper, Faith Cooper, Isaac Truex, Rachel Truex, Nicki Dobbs, Roxie Dobbs, Alex Acosta, Riley Acosta, Tucker Henderson, Gage Henderson, Janie Henderson, Annie Russell, Andrew Cooper and Grace Cooper; her great great grandchildren, Garren Cooper and Anakin Cooper; and her siblings, Mary Lougheed, Ruby Scott, Bill May and Danny May. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boynton Baptist Church.
