She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Malone and Zilpha Denton Malone; her husband Walter Clifton Raines, Sr.; her son Thomas Earl Pickering; her siblings, Clyde, Robert, David Malone, Marell Malone Galyon, Kathryn Malone Sharp and Mildred Malone Bivens (Mickie); and her stepson Walter Clifton Raines, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Charles Edward Pickering (Elizabeth) and Susan Pickering Donning (Todd); her brother Raymond Malone (Juanita); and her stepchildren, Millard Lee Raines (Janice), Elaine Raines Cameron (Ronald) and Christine Raines Lund (Arthur). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, step-great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
