With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Huskey (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Dorothy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Edwin Marion Huskey; and her sister Lillie Belle Armstrong. She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Labossier and Marion Callaway Dean; and her husband Boynton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Audubon Society, to help protect the birds she cared deeply for.
