It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Elrod Sr. (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Valentine and Lillian Elrod (Couch); and his siblings, Robbie Jean Elrod, Linda Sue Stewart, Charles Elrod and Jimmy Elrod.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Laura Elrod (Everett); his sons, Bobby Dean Elrod, Jr. (Susan) and Brian Wesley Elrod (Jamey); his sisters, Wanda Smith and Juanita Reed; his grandchildren, Brittany Laurel Elrod, Kimberly Meghan White (Evan), Weston Brown Elrod, London O'donnell Elrod and Jamison "Crew" Elrod; and his great grandchild Emilia Rose White. He is also survived by sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CHI Memorial Foundation Rees Skillern Cancer Institute.
