It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Carpenter Camp (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Carpenter and Jennie Carpenter; and her siblings, C. L. Renner, Tommy Carpenter, Helen Moore, Christine Simmons, Ralph Carpenter, Jr. and Marciel Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband David Camp, Sr.; her children, Darlene Baker (Bill), Buddy Strickland, Joe Vitro (Shari) and David Camp, Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Day, Frances Patterson, Bobby Carpenter, Carolyn Betts and Gary Carpenter. She is also survived by several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family & friends.
