Arlon Cushen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlon Cushen (Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia), who passed away on November 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Cushen and Janie Cushen; and his siblings, Marvin Cushen, Harvie Cushen, Garvin Cushen, Ovell Waddell, Lethel Cowart, Luven Cushen, Viona Whitmore and Euthema Buckles.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cushen; his stepchildren, Shannon Bateman (Ian) and Russ Rowland (Jessica); his brother Arvel Cushen; and his stepchildren, Glenda Boyd (Bobby) and Lee Stringfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene (3220 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post #214 or Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene.
