He was predeceased by: his parents, William Donald Griffin, Sr. and Floye Lawson Griffin of Fort Gaines, Georgia.; and his sisters, Mildred "Virginia" Griffin Graham and Doris Gay. He is survived by: his nephew Lawson McKenzie "Mac" Graham; his wife Lisa Griffin of Forsyth; his daughter Danita Griffin Sayer of Kirby; his niece Patricia "Patsy" Graham Leonard of Mt. Juliet; and also Madge Graham of Gainesville, Georgia..
