It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Roberta Marwede of Fort Gaines, Georgia, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marwede and Nettie Pawick Marwede. She is survived by: her children, Kelley Bess of Bessemer, AL and Spencer King of Hueytown; her sisters, Carol Ray of Cuthbert and Linda Johnson of Box Springs, GA; and her grandchildren, Summer and Shane.
