As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Espy Childs, Sr. and Gene Chambers Childs; and his brother Ted Stutts. He is survived by: his wife Norma Sanders Childs of Ft. Gaines; his daughters, Lisa Flournoy (Bill) of Ft. Gaines and Teri Starr (Joe) of Sebring, FL; his grandsons, Jonathan Owoc, Alec Sassin and Tyler Sassin; and his great grandchild Enzo Owoc.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Park Cemetery- Ft. Gaines.
