He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edgar Moncrief and Amy Kate Murphy Moncrief; his siblings, Mary Moncrief Collier, Joseph Moncrief, Leonard Moncrief, Harvey "Pee Wee" Moncrief and Jerry Moncrief; and his siblings-in-law, Richard "Dick" Collier, Yvonne Brady Blalock, Juanita Moncrief and Jeanette Moncrief.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Brady Moncrief; his children, Michael Moncrief (Jackie) of Panama City and Melanie Moncrief Williams (Kenny) of Cuthbert, Georgia.; and his grandchildren, Heather Moncrief Cox (John), Liza Moncrief, Cameron Moncrief (Kalee), Colton Moncrief (Katie Brown), Brandon Williams, Ashley Williams, Layla Williams and Morgan Cox.
