He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Behland, Jr. and Joan Selonki Behland. He is survived by: his wife Katrine Davis Behland of Ft. Gaines; his stepsons, Clint Hammond (Megan) of Parrott, Jeremy Hammond of Albany and Rod Hammond of Albany; his sister Karen Collins; and his stepgranddaughter Skylar Hammond.

In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Ft. Gaines Baptist Church Bereavement fund.
