He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Gustafson and Allie Gustafson (Jespersen); and his siblings, Angie Huber, Carl Gustafson, Ethel Alspaugh and Anna Alspaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Gustafson (Petersen); his children, Carole Brew (Don) of Las Vegas, NV, Susan Gustafson (Jamie Nicklas), Sharon Spangler (Scott) of Warren, Robert Gustafson (Elaine) of Pittsburgh, JoAnne Gustafson of Richmond, VA and Scot Gustafson (Caroline Hunter) of Ojai, CA; his sister June Carlson (Ron); his grandchildren, Matthew Brew, Emily Brew (Claude Colin) of Las Vegas, NV, Erin Spangler, Dane Gustafson of Pittsburgh, PA, Karl Gustafson of Chicago, IL and Henry Gustafson of Richmond, VA; and his great grandchildren, Soren and Kai Colin of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
