With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta E Schlesselman of Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Folkmann and Sophie Folkmann (Baack); her spouse Dale Donald Schlesselman; her daughter Jeannie; her grandson Nicholas Schlesselman; and her siblings, Florence Schaefer, Edna Schmidt, Clarence, Raymond, Merlin and Richard Folkmann.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Thompson (Rick) of Muscatine, Glen Schlesselman (Dawn) of Ladora, Lois Merry (Roger) of Rineyville, Brian Schlesselman (Beth Ann) of Williamsburg and Jerry Schlesselman of Homestead. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
