With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton R. Hardy formerly of Fort Benning, Georgia, born in Jackson, Georgia, who passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his father Ross Hardy; and his brother Lester Hardy. He is survived by: his mother LaRue Wilson; his wife Brenda Hardy; his aunts, Betty Brown of Atlanta, GA and Joann Wise (Bowie, MD); his siblings-in-law, Mack Douse (Nicole) of Atlanta, GA, D'Andrae Douse of Fort Wayne, IN and Lynn Austin Hardy of Cleveland, OH; his nieces, Leslynn Hardy of Los Angeles, CA and Alexis Hardy of Chicago, IL; and his cousin Regenia Chapman. He is also survived by 7 grand children, 6 great-grand children.
