He was predeceased by: his parents, Toy Watson and Electie Watson; his brother Eldred; and his sisters-in-law, Mattie Watson and Pat Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Lindell Watson; his son Ronald; his daughter-in-law Brenda Watson; and his grandchildren, Donna, Lynn Wages, Robbie, Jill Mathis, Dee, Chad Mathis, Nathan and Kerri Mathis. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
