She is survived by: her children, James Akins, Lisa Sheriff (Ricky Brown), Matthew Akins and Mark Akins (Becky); her grandchildren, Amanda Shackelford, Josh Akins, Cynthia Brock, Amber Sheriff Chumbler, Zachary Sheriff, Ross Akins and Eli Akins; her great grandchildren, Rachel Bailey, Mikey Bailey, Brittany Brock, Peyton Shackelford, Sky Shackelford, Elias Akins, Areia Sheriff, Bethany Sheriff, Lila Sheriff and Parker Sheriff; her great great grandchildren, Daniel Bailey, Luke Yates and Colton Bailey; her brother Douglas Wood (Janice); and her siblings-in-law, Melba Mason and Lanier Akins (Shelia). She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews.
