With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Leigh Mitchell (Forsyth, Georgia), born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, Billy Lancaster and Eric Engstrom. She is survived by: her sisters, Anne Mitchell Stephens (Clyde) of Cleveland, TN, Fran Mitchell Lancaster of Forsyth and Jamille Mitchell Sergent (Rod); her nieces, Dr. Jill Lancaster (Chris Ivey) and Mallory Stephens (Marvin Ovando); her nephew Preston Lancaster (Danielle); her great-nephews, Kade Lancaster and Evan Ovando; and her great-niece Kara Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
