Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruby Champion (Forsyth, Georgia), born in Monroe, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 82, on May 9, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jefferson Gossett and Pauline Estelle Ruark Gossett; and her husband Thomas Champion. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Coogler (Vickie) of Phoenix, Teresa Griffeth of Forsyth, Joe Coogler (Debra) of North Carolina, Jim Coogler of Forsyth and Brian Champion of Ohio; and her siblings, LaFran Jackson of Forsyth and Larry William Gossett of Texas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service for family will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery with no formal visitation.
