He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Grimes Sr. and Aline Glover Grimes; and his brother Nolan Grimes Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cherrie Charles Grimes of Cumming; his children, Joe Grimes (JJ) of Cumming and Lisa Marie Grimes of Dawsonville; his grandchildren, Lindsey Abreu (Mitchell) of Dahlonega, Nathan Grimes and Raegan Grimes of Cumming; his great grandchildren, Fletcher, Wylie Kate and Hattie Abreu of Dahlonega; and his siblings, Calvin Grimes (Pat) of Cumming, James Grimes (Treena) of Canton, Tony Grimes (Theresa) of Alpharetta and Martha Tate (Kenneth) of Pickens County. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the Bank of the Ozarks in memory of Roger for his loving wife, Cherrie Grimes.
