It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Batten of Forsyth, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mid Batten. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Feess-Batten of Forsyth; his children, Kate Trice of Forsyth and Steven Smith, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; his mother Barbara L. Batten of Forsyth; his sisters, Romona Foster of Forsyth and Cindy Pilnicki of Bethany, OK; and his pet Oliver. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three nephews; one niece; three great nephews; one great niece; multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 there will not be a formal visitation.
