He is survived by: his children, Debbie Carter (Walter) of Forsyth, Denise Garren of Lakeland, Dewayne Garren (Evangeline) of Forsyth and Kayla Beth Garren of Florida; his grandchildren, Abby Garren Saxton (John) of Taunton, England and Joshua Horne (Ashley Jacobs) of Florida; his great grandchildren, Lyn Horne and Brooklyn Leftwich; and his siblings, Jane Patterson of North Carolina and Herman Garren (Pam) of North Carolina.
