She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carlos Middlebrooks and Ethel Glawson Middlebrooks; her husband John Braxton "Brac" Bohannon; her sister Lois Altman; and her niece April Altman.
She is survived by: her children, Beryl Regula (Jennifer) and Meridith Symon (Ted); and her grandchildren, Jessica Regula, Gostin Watson, Ridley Symon, Ellie Symon and Merry Martha Symon.
