It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leon Arthur Carlton (Forsyth, Georgia), born in Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Laverne Gay of Monticello; his children, Joseph, Debbie, Donnie, Sonia, Danita and Cathy; his wife Genova; and his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Levi, Eden Walterhouse, Sadie Walterhouse, Lucy Walterhouse, Matthew Strickland and Morgan Strickland. He is also survived by his sisters and their husbands Jane and Earl Pollock and Gail and Denny Norman, as well as a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any memorials be made to the Mission Fund at East Side Baptist Church, 220 Colton Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792.
