It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Duane Hood of Forsyth, Georgia, born in Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Bragg Hood; his parents, Ezell Hood and Lois Hood; his brother Dean Hood; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Charles and Bud Lang.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Gravitt (Hank) and Debbie Logan (Jason); his grandchildren, Carter, Elladee Gravitt, Jake and Kinley Logan; his siblings, Bill Hood (Gena), Margie Charles, Linda Lang and David Hood (Tammy); and his sister-in-law Linda Hood.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Coal Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery (3220 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Sawnee View Memorial Gardens (1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040).
