He was predeceased by: his parents, John Will Belknap and Lillie Mae LaCount Belknap; and his brother Jerry Belknap. He is survived by: his children, John Belknap, Jr. and Trellis Belknap; his grandson-in-law Keith Grant; his grandsons, Jakob Mays Grant and Jordan Grant; and his sisters, Jo Ann Moon (Tommy) of Forsyth and Judy Belknap Evans of Forsyth.
