He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mullis and Hazel Mullis; and his brother Frank Michael Mullis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Starr Mullis of Forsyth; his sons, Richard Carl Mullis of Forsyth and Christopher Clay Mullis of Perry, Georgia; and his grandson Christopher Michael Mullis of Forsyth.
