She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolfe H. Johnson and Nannie Kate Grant Johnson; and her siblings, Barnelle Johnson, Janie Ruth Stewart, Dottie Marshall Hearn, Evelyn Johnson, Bill Johnson, Imogene Vincent, Merle Giddens and David Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Nix (Karen) of Sardis, Bill Nix (Tammy) of Baxley and Allen Nix (Alicia) of Evans; her close friend Jimmy Juhan; her grandchildren, Bryan Nix, Hank Nix, Meagan Cavanaugh (Brian), Kate Nix, Rachel Nix and Chris Nix (Brittney); her great grandchildren, Julian Thomas Cavanaugh and Colton Adam Nix; her stepgrandson Aiden Cavanaugh; and her sister-in-law Jeannie Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
