He is survived by: his spouse Augustine Hammersley of Forsyth; his daughters-in-law, Kip Hammersley (Alisha) of Forsyth, Clay Ham (Lee) of Forsyth and Chris Ham (Connie) of Forsyth; his grandchildren, Kerri Swearingen (Mike) of Forsyth, Chrissy Donovan of Forsyth, Kurt Ham (Byerly) of Forsyth, Madison Hammersley of Forsyth, Joseph Stephens (Brittney) of Forsyth, Josh Stephens (Amber) of Forsyth and Holly Price (Evan) of Barnesville; his great grandchildren, Hannah Swearingen of Forsyth, Avery Donovan of Forsyth, Jaxon Donovan of Forsyth, Tyler of Forsyth, Lizzie of Forsyth and Elaine Stephens of Forsyth; and his brother Roy Hammersley of Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 40 Rumble Road, Forsyth.
