He is survived by: his close friend Betty Johnson; his children, Russell Bottoms (Phyllis), Michael Bottoms (Holly), Tracey Hicks (David) and Christy Day (Neal); his grandchildren, Josh McCormick (Megan), Abby Otwell (Jacob), Tori Seay (Chris), McKinsey Bottoms, Reagan Hicks, Emily Bottoms, Jay Bottoms, Sam Bottoms and Annslee Kirby; his great grandchildren, Lucas McCormick and Hudson Otwell; and his siblings, Gene Bottoms (Helen), Hellon Ledbetter (Doyle), Bernice Parrott (Richard) and Dennis Bottoms (Sandra). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
