It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Daniels Duckworth of Forsyth, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Veasy Daniels and Sudie Daniels; and her husband Julian Kimbell Duckworth. She is survived by: her children, Kimbell Ahlstrand (Steven) and Lisa Baker (Terry); her grandchildren, Eric Ahlstrand (Aaron), Wendy Baker Harvil (Brandt), Bryan Ahlstrand (Marlene) and Alexandra Ahlstrand; her great grandchildren, Peyton Harvil, Reece Harvil and Lucas Cohen; her sisters, Betty Daniels Davis and Joyce Daniels Kimbell; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Wayne Duckworth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Methodist Church (1671 Dames Ferry Rd, Forsyth, GA 31029). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Methodist Church at 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029.
