He was predeceased by: his parents, Avon Hughes and Paulette Walls Hughes; his son Tommy Lee Hughes; and his siblings, Jerry Hughes, Regina Bennett and Nancy Sitton.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Hughes; his daughter Michelle Lane; his brother Stephen (Kathy Hughes); his grandchildren, Loren Aaron, Heather, Travis Garner, Jacob and Casey Lane; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett Yarger, Cody Wood, Camron Denson, Judd, Dane Garner and Maverick Lane.
