He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Barbour and Gertrude Barbour; his siblings, Rodney Jones, John Barbour and Patsy Wilt; and his granddaughter Julie Maus.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Barbour; his children, Dewey Peek Jr. (Randi), Shane Peek (Jennifer), John Hudson (Ashley), Terri Barbour, Dayle Barbour and Brittany Henry (Darryl); and his brothers, Michael Barbour and Randy Barbour. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
