She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Sherrod and Kate Sherrod; her husband Corral Bell Morris Jr.; her son John Gideon Morris; her great grandchild Hope Annebelle Peavey; and her brothers, Frank and Bobby Sherrod.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Morris (Betty), Jesse Morris, Phyllis Peavey (Johnny), Naomi Waterhouse (Geoff), Debby Adkins, Rachel Farr (Arthur), Rebekah Wright and Elizabeth Rice (Chuck); her siblings, Jesse Sherrod (Barbara) and Helen Robinson (J. C.); her sister-in-law Mary Sherrod of Pennsylvania; her stepmother Virginia Sherrod; her stepsisters, Wanda Cox, Wendy Underwood and Peggy Jackson; and her grandchildren, Renee Hawley, David Branch (Jenny), James Peavey (Sarabeth), Anthony Farr (Trish), Jessica Holland (Judd), Joy Sandmann, Lydia Rice, Vivian Rice and Caroline Rice.
