She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Shepherd and Laura Maddox Shepherd; her brothers, Francis Maddox and Benjamin Shepherd, Jr.; and her grandson David Dupree.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Batten, Kelly Bird and Bubba Dupree; and her grandchildren, Joshua Dupree, Misty Dupree, Mason Dupree and Willie Dupree. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monroe County Memorial Chapel (86 W Main St, Forsyth, GA 31029). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forsyth City Cemetery Newton Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnel for Towers.
