Bernice Byrd Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 84, Bernice Byrd (Forsyth, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Robert Lee Byrd and Terrell Tyrone Byrd; and her son-in-law James T. Dumas. She is survived by: her children, Bernell Byrd Merritt, Carolyn Byrd Davis, James Harold Byrd (Brenda), Christopher Byrd and Michelle Byrd Dumas; her siblings, Reverend Nazareth Lyons, Tony O'Neal, Mildred Barber and Margaret Fluellyn (Larry); her sister-in-law Carolyn Bland O'Neal; and her daughter-in-law Patsy K. Mann. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchildren.
