He was predeceased by: his father Larkin Russell; his wife Etheleen Russell; his siblings, Angus Dawson Russell, Burma Russell Chastain and Clyta Russell Matheson; and his grandson Mack Griggs.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kevin Russell and Sherry Lynn Griggs (David); his grandchildren, Michael Griggs (Byrn) and Zack Griggs; and his great grandchildren, Aerin Griggs and Ian Griggs.
