He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Cartwright Bales; and his parents, Roy Bales and Alma Rine Bales. He is survived by: his children, Stacy Mancil (Jason) of Hampton, Tanya Smith (Scott) of Ellenwood and Micky Bales Jr. (Delena) of Forest Park; his grandchildren, Ryan Bales, Jordan Williams (Christopher) and Victoria Smith; and his pet Cooper. He is also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother, and several nieces and nephews.
