He is survived by: his brother James Christopher Smith (Pat); his nieces, Hillary Scott (Andy), Laurel and Autumn Gilbert (Cory); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joel Scott, Jacob Scott, Olivia Scott, Taylor Herrington and LouElla Gilbert.
