She was predeceased by: her husband Brooks Gwinette; her children, Edwin Gwinette and Anna Cockrell; and her brother Wesley Owens. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Gwinette of Forest Park and Edythe Manning (Gary) of Forest Park; her grandchildren, Adrianne Cockrell, Katie Cockrell, MacKenzie Manning, Sarah Manning and Jessica Gwinette; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah Reid, Brianna Rudeseal, Alissa Rudeseal, Leah Rapier and David Rapier.
