He is survived by: his father John Frank Owens of Jackson Lake, Georgia; his wife Deborah Hembree Owens; his daughter Kara Owens; his grandson Colin Henry; his daughter Marla Baker; his son-in-law Omar; his grandchildren, Maalik, Jocque and Kash; and his siblings, Lynn (Tony Lovin) of McDonough, Georgia and Alan (Mitizi Owens) of Williamson, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
