Petty (Buddy) and Melissa Davis (Ray); his stepchildren, Tisha Roberson, David Thrift and Terry James Thrift; his siblings, Ronald, Gayle Petty (Ezzell), Ken, Fonda Petty (Henderson), Robert, Candy Petty (Black) and Cheryl Heath; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kaila Petty (Ballinger), Jullian Petty, Wyatt Petty, Hunter Pickel, Makayla Lynn (Doug), Zachary Crews, Caden Thrift, Camden Thrift, Temperance Moore, Jensen Thrift and Colt Thrift; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Lynn, Kane Petty and Baby Petty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
