He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Augustus Phillips and Mary Jane Prescott Phillips; his wife Harlowe Clark Phillips; and his brothers, Donald Phillips and Henry Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Phillips (Penny), Mike Phillips (Robbin), Craig Phillips (MeLisa), Danny Phillips (Michelle), Denise Phillips, Willie Maude Johns, Sue Murray (Roni), Jimmy Phillips (Joann) and George Phillips; and his sister-in-law Theo Phillips. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
