She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Wilson and Edna Evelyn Thornton (Geiger); her stepchildren, Gaylon Evans and Danny Evans; and her brother Elwood Wilson Thornton, Jr. (Sonny).
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Ann Owens (Greg) of Olathe, KS, Avis Ann Murray (Michael) of Folkston, GA and Patricia Naomi O'Connor (Wayne) of Navarre, FL; her grandchildren, Nichole Graham (Eric) of Edgerton, KS, Caleb Paul Murray of Folkston, GA, Joshua Michael Murray (Elise) of Bonaire, GA, Hayden Austin O'Connor of Tallahassee, FL, Hannah Elizabeth Murray Emberton (James) of Folkston, GA, Noah Hunter O'Connor of Navarre, FL, Jacob Paul Murray of Folkston, GA and Cameron Thomas Murray of Folkston, GA.; her great grandchildren, Avry Nichole Graham and Jane Morgan Murray; her siblings, Mildred Houser of Houston, Mary Joy Bomar of Covington, TN, Merle McDaniel of Jackson, TN, Jonathan Thornton (Kathy) of Little Rock, AR and Timothy Thornton (Ginny) of Austin, TX; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Murray, Joshua Murray, James Emberton, Hayden O'Connor, Noah O'Connor, Jacob Murray, Cameron Murray, Jude Graham and Gage Graham.
