He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. King and Winnie Lee Crews King; his daughter Debbie Wildes; his son-in-law Michael Wildes, Sr.; his great grandchild Thomas Ackerman; and his siblings, Josephine Johnson, Gladys Holliday, Charles "Chicken" King, Vernon "Bunny" King and William "Pete" King.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Lee King of Folkston; his children, Teena Morgan (Joe) of Folkston, Milton E. King, Jr. (Beverly) of Folkston, James King (Susan) of Folkston, Jason King (Lisa) of Folkston and Charles "Gene" King (Carma) of Locust Grove, GA; and his siblings, Peggy King, Carolyn Millhorn (Walter D.) of Waycross and Mike King (Carol) of Waycross. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
