She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Davis and Ruby Hodges Davis; her husband Robert Gamble; her siblings, Kathleen Johns, Dorthy Jones, Sara Nasworthy, Queenie Harvey, Rita Brown, Margie Crews, Eleanor Sikes, Dean Hodges, Cecil Hodges and Clyde Hodges; her stepmother Alma Sykes Hodges Davis; and her sister-in-law Jackie Gamble O'Quinn.
She is survived by: her grandson Joey Popham (Janet); her children, Brenda Popham (Bob), Debbie Zielinski (Len) and Bobby Gamble; her siblings, Stanley Davis (Patti), Clinton Davis, Margie McCullough (Ray), Maxine Morgan (HC) and Stella Wilson; and her sister-in-law Pat Capps.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home (526 Oakwood St, Folkston, GA 31537).
