He was predeceased by: his father Joseph A. Jones, Sr.; his son Keith Jones; and his sister Edith Jones Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Stroup Jones; his children, Steve Jones (Wendy) and Sherri Hawthorne (Stan); his daughter-in-law Kim Jones; and his grandchildren, Stacey Cagle (Dusty), Drew Jones (Laura), Stu Hawthorne (Ashley), Caroline Canady (Mac), Blake Jones (Lacey), Julie Davis (Richard), Chip Hawthorne (Deborah), Marisa Jones and Laura Jones.
