He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Johnson and Anna Nichols Cox; his wife Fay Davis Johnson; and his stepdaughter Robin Adler. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Tripp and Tammie Johnson; his stepchildren, Charles Howard Adler and Candy Freer (Sam); his grandchildren, Alexander Tyler Freer, Anna Faye Brazell, Ashley Nicole Lloyd (Daniel), Jennifer Kathleen Neely and Jillian Cassandra Marion Martini (Tristian); and his great grandchildren, Trinity Brazell and Danica Lloyd.
