It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Oscar Hannaford Jr. of Folkston, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar Hannaford, Sr. and Thelma Gowen Hannaford; his son James Michael Hannaford (Barbara Hannaford); his daughter-in-law Lori Thompson Crews (Greg); and his siblings, Maurice Hannaford (Linda), George Leonard Hannaford (Ellen) and Meryl Lloyd (Glynn).
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Fillingim Hannaford; his daughter Jeanne Crews (Don); his grandsons, Greg Crews and Geoff Crews (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Amelia Crews and Gage Moore; and his sister-in-law Linda Hannaford. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
