He is survived by: his wife Cheryl T. Grooms; his sons, Troy Grooms (Beth), Jimmy Grooms (Shana), Neil Grooms (Jennifer) and Shaine Grooms (Christine); his stepdaughter Jordan Walker; his siblings, Gloria Ashburn, Pamela Sandidge, Penelope Nighbert, Kathy Cooper, Kimberly Darnell, Royce Grooms (Pamela) and Gregory Grooms (Cindy); and the mother of his children Donna Grooms. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
