With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Hickox (Folkston, Georgia), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Evin Hickox and Ethel Hickox; her brother Carl Hickox; and her grandson-in-law Adam Dixon. She is survived by: her children, Joann Sparks and Paul Gibson; her granddaughter Angela Strickland (Carl); her great grandchildren, Lilly Dixon, Will Strickland (Karlee), Chelsea Strickland and Tyler Tanner (Brittany); her great great grandchild Braxton Henderson; her sister Jonell Kelly; and her sister-in-law Kitty Hickox. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
